About Us
Founded in 2010, our aim is to protect and serve horses. We participate in rescuing horses from slaughter auctions, owner surrenders, and helping other horses in need. We work to educate people in the ownership, care, and disposition of horses.
Once a horse has been quarantined, vetted, and evaluated, it becomes available for adoption. The adoption fees do not represent the value of the horses. They do not represent the investment in their acquisition, their vetting, their training, or their care. They do help to defray some of our costs and enable us to continue our mission.
Please consider becoming a sponsor to our horses in temporary and permanent care, or donating to the rescue's acquisition fund. You can donate to the benefit of a particular horse, or to the general projects. Local people are also welcome to volunteer to help at the farm! Volunteer orientations will be announced and scheduled.
